God Ki, or Divine Ki, as some may call it, is something that not many characters can use in the Dragon Ball world, aside from the Gods. When it comes to mortals, we’ve seen Goku use it, and Vegeta can use it as well. The first mortal we saw using this God ki was in fact Goku, and that’s happened in Battle of Gods.
In order to fight Beerus, Goku had the power of five pure hearted Saiyans put into him. With this, he gained access to a form known as the Super Saiyan God. After Goku, Vegeta when to train with Whis, and he managed to learn the Super Saiyan Blue, which is essentially Super Saiyan form of Super Saiyan God, and he used God Ki as well. Goku too managed to use Super Saiyan Blue.
With that said, apart from Goku, I think we only saw Black as a user of Dark Godly Ki, after he fused with Zamasu. But, in the manga, there is actually another character who was recently revealed to have access to this God Ki. I’m pretty sure most of you guys are aware of who it is. I’m talking about Toppo here. That’s right.
In both the anime, and the manga, it was stated that Toppo was being groomed by Belmod to become the next God of Destruction of Universe 11. But, in the anime, we got no such implication that Toppo was a Godly Ki user. However, there are a lot of different things in the anime and the manga, and this just happens to be one of them.
In the manga, when Goku fights Toppo and is getting Overpowered int the Super Saiyan 2 state, he uses Super Saiyan God afterwards. Toppo, seeing this powers up as well, and he then uses his own variant of Godly Ki. Toppo ultimately rings out Goku in the manga, while in the anime Goku goes on to use Kaio-ken, and then is stopped by The Grand Priest. So, yeah, things are pretty different in the anime and the manga.
Whether Toppo is a user of Godly Ki in the anime as well, is something that we don’t know just yet. I think this is a big thing, so maybe it’ll be revealed in Toppo’s fight vs Vegeta. Godly Ki is many times better than regular Ki. So, whichever way you look at it, Toppo with Godly ki is a lot stronger than without it.
