Devil Fruits are arcane fruits scattered throughout the OP universe that, when eaten, provide the consumer with a unique ability, depending on the type and variation of the Fruit itself. A single person can acquire only a single DF power (exception Blackbeard!) and moreover that person loses his ability to swim. This list is about the various legendary Devil Fruits mentioned or shown in the series, ranked not only on the basis of power but uniqueness of the DF.

10. Gura-Gura no mi
It is a Paramecia-type DF which allows the user to create vibrations or quakes, making the wielder a Tremor Human. It is one of the most feared legendary Devil Fruits out there as it is reputed to have the power to destroy the planet. It is one of the strongest DFs of Paramecia class. It’s powers rival that of a Logia as seen during the Battle of Marineford. The real strength granted by this fruit is its user’s ability to give rise to tremendous vibrations, or shockwaves, which can go though virtually any medium, including the ground, the seafloor, and even the air. It’s first known user was Edward Newgate and after his death, it’s powers were stolen by Blackbeard making him the only character to wield 2 DF abilities.
9. Ope-Ope no mi
It is a Paramecia-type DF that allows its user to create a spherical spatial barrier or “room”, in which the user has complete control over the arrangement and orientation of the objects inside. It was force-fed to Trafalgar D. Water Law by Donquixote Rosinante. This fruit is called the “Ultimate Devil Fruit” because of its unusual ability to give another person eternal youth in exchange for the life of the current user. Another notable feature of this DF is the “Personality Transplant Surgery” in which the user switches the hearts of 2 individuals leading to a personality exchange. This DF is also very effective in teleporting things within a limited space. It is one of the most desired legendary Devil Fruits in OP.
8. Marco’s DF
It’s an unnamed Mythical Zoan type DF said to be the rarest type and even considered rarer than Logia type DFs. Although it is classified as a Zoan, due to the manifestation of the phoenix, the additional powers it grants may be considered similar to those of Paramecia (regeneration) and Logia (the generation of blue phoenix flames). It is very helpful in aerial assault and the user can take large amounts of damage which can easily be healed by the blue flames. This makes it one of the most powerful legendary Devil Fruits until now. It is speculated to be named as Tori-Tori no mi, Model: Phoenix.
7. Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu
It is a Mythical Zoan-type DF that allows its user to transform into a Daibutsu (a giant Buddha statue). It was eaten by Sengoku, the former fleet admiral of the Marines. It enables the user to transform into a giant, living, Buddha-like golden statue, gaining an extreme boost in strength to match his size. His entire body takes on a golden hue, similar to a polished gold statue. The user can apply palm thrusts to launch powerful shock waves.
6. Yami-Yami no mi
It is a Logia-type legendary Devil Fruits that allows the user to create and control darkness at will, making the user a Darkness Human. It was eaten by Marshall D. Teach, also known as Blackbeard, who stole it from Commander Thatch of the Whitebeard Pirates’ 4th division after murdering him. It allows the user to control darkness and its unique property of gravity similar to a black hole. The darkness is a void that gobbles and pulverizes everything. Due to this, the user can absorb physical matter and attacks of any type by sucking it into the darkness. A daunting advantage of this fruit is that the user also has the ability to nullify the powers of other Devil Fruits by simply touching the user and draining them of their abilities. It is one of the most unusual DFs till now.
5. Mochi-Mochi no Mi
It is a special Paramecia-type DF that allows the user to create, control, and transform into mochi. It was eaten by Charlotte Katakuri and he is capable of controlling large amounts of mochi with high precision. This DF is similar to the Gomu Gomu no Mi, as it gives the user’s body the properties of a “stretchy” substance that allows them to extend their limbs and expand their bodies at will. This allows Katakuri to mimic Luffy’s techniques and even better them in combat. Due to the awakened nature of Katakuri’s abilities he can change the surrounding inorganic material into mochi, spreading the sticky substance around to enhance his range of attacks and capture his opponents.
4. Mythical Zoan Dragon
Recent speculation suggests that the Yonkou-Kaido has this DF ability and it will help him change into a Dragon. What kind of Dragon and with what abilities it is yet to be witnessed. If the speculation proves to be true it could pave way for one of the most powerful Zoan type DFs ever.
3. Soru-Soru no Mi
It is a Paramecia-type DF that allows the user to freely contact with and manage souls. It was initially eaten by Mother Carmel, but the ability was later transferred to the Yonko Charlotte Linlin, after Carmel’s death. It’s power consists of yanking out and incarnating bits of the humans’ souls into a spectral, light-colored, but (for the user) tangible substance, which the user extracts by grabbing at the substance when it begins surrounding the body and pulling it out. This effectively steals from a target’s very lifespan, the amount of which is determined by the user. Also by infusing inanimate objects and living animals with soul fragments, the user can “humanize” them. These beings are called as “Homies”. It’s powers are shockingly terrifying.
2. Goro-Goro no mi
It is a Logia-type DF that allows the user to spawn, manipulate, and transform into electricity at will, making the user a Lightning Human. It was eaten by God Enel. The user can travel at the speed of lightning by transforming into it.One of the most god-like uses of the powers, however, is how Enel can use them to inspect his surroundings. Because of the powers, he is able to listen to the electrical sound waves that traverse the very air itself. Combined with his Mantra ability, it gives him a radar-like sense of everything around him that makes it seem like he is omniscient like an actual god. When used properly this DF is invincible.
1. Tama-Tama no mi
It is an unclassified DF that turns the user’s body composition into that of an egg, which if cracked open will cause the user to regenerate into a stronger body that features more and more chicken-like features each time. It was eaten by Baron Tamago. The greatest strength the fruit gives is the ability to regenerate from severe injuries that would normally kill a person by evolving from an egg to a chicken. This endless cycle effectively prevents the user from dying in battle as long as they are not killed in the midst of an evolution. It is surely the most unique DF till now. It may possibly be a mythical Zoan.
